Economic Development Director
Caylyn Wright specializes in public policy and local government advocacy. She has 10 years of experience working with elected officials on the local, state, and national levels. During this time Ms. Wright worked on a wide array of issues and developed a deep understanding of what it means to be influential.
Ms. Wright currently works as the Government Affairs Director for the Sacramento Association of REALTORS®, where she manages the Association’s political activities, media relations, and works with elected leaders and government staff to protect homeownership and private property rights.
Prior to joining the Sacramento Association of REALTORS®, Ms. Wright worked at the State Capitol in both the Senate and Assembly on a variety of tasks including researching legislation, and constituent outreach.
Ms. Wright holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Sacramento State University, authoring “A Case Study of the Williamson Act in Tehama County” to satisfy the thesis requirement in 2008. She also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from Sacramento State University, in 2006, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honors Society.
Ms. Wright spends her free time running, enjoys camping, hiking or anything else outdoors, and has a very soft spot for animals of all sizes and varieties.
