Tehama County offers the best outdoor recreation nature has to offer! If there is an outdoor activity you enjoy, you can probably do it here in Tehama County. Tehama County has over 300 miles of trails including 17 miles of the famous Pacific Crest Trail.

Lassen National Park is in Tehama County and offers year round activities like snowshoeing, hiking, and camping.

The Sacramento River Bend Outstanding Natural Area offers miles of hiking and horseback riding on the Yana and Hog Lake Trail systems. Hunters find an abundance of deer, pigs, and waterfowl in the Paynes Creek Wetlands. And there are public boat launching facilities at the Bend Bridge Park.

Ide Adobe State Park is located in Red Bluff, on the Sacramento River, and provides a glimpse of the mid 19th century and has beautiful picnic areas.
