How it takes a local bank to move local dreams forward

Monday, April 17, 2017

It’s not often that you see community events listed on a bank’s website. Many if not most banks these days are corporate conglomerates with national websites far removed from anything local. But Tehama County’s Cornerstone Community Bank is different.

There’s a page on the menu called “Our Community,” where local events, news and customers’ social media conversations are featured.

When they say they’re ‘community-oriented,’ it’s not just lip service.

Cornerstone Community Bank is a California state chartered bank that opened in 2006. Headquartered in the town of Red Bluff, Cornerstone is locally owned, locally managed and built from the ground up to serve the specific needs of our community. Forging relationships with individuals and businesses in Tehama, Shasta, Butte and Glenn Counties and surrounding areas is a strong priority for the bank. Cornerstone offers a variety of deposit and savings products, competitive rates on certificates of deposit (CDs) and individual retirement accounts (IRAs) and a wide selection of consumer and commercial loans and lines of credit tailored to help real people navigate real life financial situations.

In 2017, Cornerstone Community Bank will be moving from its current location to a more convenient riverside location in the heart of town. Be on the lookout for information about the Grand Opening.

The Tehama County Economic Development team is proud to support Cornerstone Community Bank, whose dedication and service to our community has helped Tehama County flourish. We will continue to promote them offline and online through social media and marketing channels such as the one you’re now reading.
