For an unforgettable vacation experience for the whole family, take a trip to Red Bluff, CA in mid-April. Because for eleven days in April, the entire town and most of Tehama County goes crazy for all things cowboy in anticipation of the internationally-known three-day Round-Up Rodeo.

Here are some of the popular, fun events you can expect during what’s known as ‘The 11 Days’ (It’s best to wear cowboy attire to these whenever possible):

  • Chili Cook-Off Competition and Car Show

  • Round-Up Parade

  • Cowboy Golf Tournament

  • Cowboy Coffee networking event at the Round-Up Museum

  • Round-Up Business Decorating Contest for the best decorated office

  • Cowboy Mixer after 5:00 PM for cocktails

  • World-famous three-day Round-Up Rodeo with rodeo performances Friday night and Saturday and Sunday afternoon

  • Cowboys & Kids program where cowboys visit local schools
