Chamber: Local business community celebrated

RED BLUFF — For the 103rd time the business community of Tehama County gathered together to honor the achievements of businesses, individuals and organizations at the annual chamber installation dinner.
The Red Bluff Community Center held a capacity crowd for the sold out event and guests enjoyed a mariachi band, silent auction and dinner catered by Los Mariachis Mexican Restaurant.
The top individual award of the night, the Gene Penne Award for Business and Community Leadership, went to Lisa Hansen, owner of Express Employment Professionals. Hansen served consecutive terms as chamber chairwoman and is a longtime member and officer with Red Bluff Kiwanis.
The Business of the Year award went to PrimeLending, which took a share of the Beautification Award along with Gudalajara Restaurant and Sully’s Restaurant.
State Farm Insurance agent Sean Rix won the Spirit Award, Vicki Stroud of Cornerstone Community Bank was named Chamber Director of the Year and Kristal Todd of North Valley Services was named Chamber Ambassador of the Year.
