County plans summit to promote economic growth

RED BLUFF — The Tehama County Economic Development Team will join with development, business and agricultural officials from around the state in August to seek ways to remove barriers and promote economic growth in the county.
Local business owners will be invited to join US Department of Agriculture Rural Development California State Director Kim Dolbow Vann and representatives from the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, Rural County Representatives of California and California Association of Local Economic Development for a discussion around government barriers that stymie growth in the county, and possible solutions to promote progress, according to a press release.
