RED BLUFF — Tehama County Board of Supervisors approved a phased expenditure plan for the $6.641 million in federal aid the county will be receiving, including $300,000 for business assistance grants.
The funding comes to the county as a sub-recipient of what the state has received from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act and will be received in monthly installments, said Chief Administrator Bill Goodwin. It can be used for payment of costs incurred as a result of COVID-19 from March 1 through Dec. 31.
